A complaint cell has been set up in Jhelum at the local municipal office. Jhelum Deputy Commissioner Rao Pervez Akhtar paid a surprise visit to the complaint cell on Friday to review arrangements for Eidul Azha.
He directed staff there to work day and night to ensure the cleanliness of the city during the Eid holidays. He further directed staff to ensure that solid waste gathered from across the district is properly disposed of. Residents of the district were also directed to call the control room to lodge their complaints about waste and its disposal.
