ISLAMABAD:

Children have been invited to send their entries for multiple competitions being organised by the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) as part of its independence day celebrations. In a statement issued on Wednesday, the council said that it has chalked out different programmes to be presented online to celebrate Independence Day. These programmes include online painting and declamation contests amongst children. Children have invited to send in their speeches on the topic “Hum Zinda Qaum Hain” (we are a spirited nation) by August 12 to the PNCA. For painting competition, they will have to share their works in any medium on the topic “Hum Sab ka Pakistan” (this is our Pakistan). Further, PNCA will hold different programmes such as “Eid kay mehmaan” to bring different prominent personalities from the world of showbiz, performing arts and culture to the homes of their fans.
