Cricket: KCCA to appeal against disqualification

Faruqi has 30 days to appeal against the decision, and the KCCA intends to making a move soon.

The Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) will appeal against the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) decision to disqualify its secretary Ejaz Ahmed Faruqi who was handed the decision on Friday by a PCB inquiry committee for speaking out against the board.

According to PCB’s constitution, Faruqi had 30 days to appeal against the decision, a move the KCCA will be making soon. “We will appeal soon. Faruqi said nothing wrong in my views. He did not criticise the PCB, he just spoke the truth,” KCCA President Sirajul Islam Bukhari told The Express Tribune. “I have called a meeting to discuss this case and I’m positive that the appeal will be successful.”
