Abdolmalek Rigi hanged in Iran

TEHRAN: Abdolmalek Rigi, head of Jundallah, who were involved in an insurgency in the Sistan-Balochistan province of Iran, was executed on Sunday.

Rigi was hanged in Tehran’s Evin prison in the presence of families of the victims of the deadly attack on Irans Revolutionary Guards.

"The head of the armed counter-revolutionary group in the east of the country... was responsible for armed robbery, assassination attempts, armed attacks on the army and police and on ordinary people, and murder," a statement by Irans official news agency IRNA said.

According to the Iranian state news agency, Rigi is linked to the death of over 150 security force members and innocent people.

He was captured on 23 February, while on a flight from Dubai to Kyrgyzstan.

His hanging comes less than a month after his brother Abdolhamid was executed on charges of terrorism.

Some of the terrorist are released by courts and some are taken away from the police custody so easily like a joke ........... So here is the difference, the Iranian government cares for its people and know how to protect their lives and Pakistani government cares only for itself ..... Indeed shameful ....
