10 more die of Covid-19 in Sindh

509 more patients recovered overnight

As many as 574 fresh coronavirus cases were reported in Sindh overnight, shared Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Tuesday, adding that 10 more people had succumbed to the contagious disease. He said that 9,571 samples were tested for the virus, of which 574 turned out to be positive, taking the total number of affected persons to 119,398. Meanwhile, the 10 more deaths raised the province’s Covid-19 death toll to 2,172, he added. He further said that 8,237 people were currently under treatment for Covid-19 in Sindh, among whom 7,721 were in home isolation, 505 were being treated in different hospitals and 11 were quarantined in isolation centres. He added that the condition of 410 patients was critical and 67 of them were on ventilators. On the other hand, 509 more patients recovered overnight, lifting the number of recovered patients in the province to 108,989, he added.
