Anti-encroachment drive in Islamabad

Six kiosks, four sheds, a cabinet along with a shed with fences and a gate were razed

ISLAMABAD:

The apex civic agency of the federal capital conducted an operation against encroachments in different parts of the city on Monday.

In this regard, the Enforcement Directorate of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), with assistance from the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Administration, Islamabad Police and other relevant departments, conducted operations in different areas of the city including the Humak Model Town, Sector I-9, the Quaid-e-Azam University and Bari Imam, Saidpur and Malpur. During the operation in Humak, the enforcement directorate demolished several illegal structures including six kiosks, four sheds, a cabinet along with a shed with fences and a gate were razed.
