ACE seals 335 petrol pumps

LAHORE:

Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) sealed 335 petrol pumps in a crackdown against less measurement.

It also imposed Rs3,787,000 worth of fines on the pump owners. During the crackdown, ACE visited at least 1,632 petrol pumps. A total of 23 pumps were sealed in Lahore A, 73 in Lahore B, 84 in Gujranwala, 46 in Faisalabad, seven in Sargodha, 24 in Sahiwal, 57 in Multan, three in Bahawalpur, one in Rawalpindi and 18 pumps in DG Khan were sealed by Punjab ACE.

Director General Gohar Nafees appealed to the citizens to identify the corrupt elements through report corruption app. ACE would take strict action against the corrupt elements without any discrimination, he added.
