Truck full of goats stolen

The police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the matter

Five armed men stole a truck full of sacrificial goats at gunpoint in Bhains Colony on Friday. The robbers stopped the truck, pulling the driver and other men in the truck out and tying them up with ropes. They then stole cash and mobile phones from them and drove off with the truck loaded with goats. According to the Sukhan police, the driver and other men were freed by passers-by who later alerted the police. The police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the matter. According to the complainant, there were 67 goats worth Rs3.8 million in the truck. While the Sohrab Goth police later recovered the truck, the goats were no longer in it. The truck was handed over to the custody of the Sukhan police.
