'Heroin smuggler' apprehended

The SSP further disclosed the three kilogrammes of high-quality heroin

KARACHI:

An alleged drug smuggler was arrested by the Site B police near Haroonabad on Thursday. West SSP Fida Hussain Janwari claimed that the arrested suspect, Haji Khan, had been allegedly supplying heroin, smuggled from Balochistan, in Nazimabad and other areas of Karachi under the guise of selling ice cream. He had an ice cream box fixed on his motorcycle. Janwari added that Khan had confessed to doing so, adding that the police had received a tip-off about his activities. The SSP further disclosed the three kilogrammes of high-quality heroin, worth millions of rupees in the international market, were confiscated from Khan's possession.
