Accused shared photographs of rape victim

FAISALABAD:

A Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) cybercrime team has arrested a young man for blackmailing a girl through photos taken during her rape.
The youth was accused of sharing objectionable photos of the girl with his friend.

Karim Bakhsh, a resident of Jhang district, stated in an application sent to FIA Assistant Director Cybercrime Shoaib Haroon that his neighbor Ali Raza broke into his house two months ago and raped his daughter.
The accused then started blackmailing her with objectionable photos taken during the assault.

Ali Raza started threatening the family after sending the pictures of his daughter to his cousin Naeem Akhtar through a friend Ghulam Mustafa, the complainant said.

A team led by Inspector Sajjad carried out a raid near Jhang Road Sudhar Ada and arrested Ghulam Mustafa.
Meanwhile, hundreds of SIMs, computers, mobile phones, and other devices of gateway network were seized during a crackdown by the FIA cybercrime wing.

A suspect was arrested on charges of causing damage to the public exchequer by setting up illegal gateway exchanges.
FIA Assistant Director Shoaib Haroon, along with his team raided a house in the suburbs of Sargodha and arrested the man operating the illegal gateway.
