Uzair Baloch to be produced in court

A local court issued on Friday the production orders for Lyari gang leader Uzair Baloch in the Kalakot police station attack case. The court expressed annoyance at jail officials for failing to present Baloch in court. At this, jail officials submitted a report to the court, maintaining that Baloch was not brought to the court in light of government orders that prisoners were not to be taken to courts due to the pandemic outbreak. Irked by this, the court issued production orders for Baloch and adjourned the hearing. Baloch is accused of perpetrating an attack on the Kalakot police station in 2012.
