At least three people were killed while one was injured after a dumper truck ran over them in Batti Chowk area on Wednesday. The victims were riding motorcycles. As they reached near Batti Chowk, the driver of the dumper lost control due to speeding or brake failure. As a result, the dumper ran over the motorcycles and three persons were killed whereas one sustained injuries. Nearby people called Rescue 1122 teams. They reached the spot, shifted the injured to the hospital and the body to a morgue. The identity of the victims could not be ascertained.
