Man killed over land dispute

A man was shot dead while seven others sustained bullet injuries in an attack over a land dispute in Kot Momin police limits.

According to police officials on Monday, Allah Bakhsh, resident of Kot Momin, had an altercation with his cousin Azmat Hussain over a land dispute a few days ago. Allah Bakhsh along with his friends was sitting in his fields when the accused Azmat along with his four accomplices arrived there and allegedly opened indiscriminate fire at them. Consequently, Allah Baksh was killed on the spot, while the other victims sustained bullet injuries.

On receiving information, police reached the spot and shifted the body and injured persons to Kot Momin THQ Hospital.
