To make the recruitment process for the Capital Hospital competitive and transparent, the apex civic authority of the federal capital has decided to task the National University of Management Sciences (NUMS) to scrutinise documents and assess candidates through exams.
The decision was taken by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Administration late last week. CDA officials said that they had requested the Interior Ministry to engage NUMS to recruit medical staff for the Capital Hospital - which is administered by CDA. To conduct interviews of candidates, officials said that it was decided that the federal health ministry along with NUMS will be requested to provide panellists who will interview specialists and other recruits.
The involvement of a third party in conducting exams and interviews will ensure neutrality and transparency in the recruitment process, the CDA official hoped.
