KARACHI:

The country's economy is in shambles due to the inflation caused by the poor policies of Prime Minister Imran Khan and his cabinet, alleged Sindh Industries and Commerce Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo during a visit to Ghotki on Sunday.

"It is a matter of concern for Pakistan that after the Bengali currency appreciated over us, the rate of the war-torn Afghani currency has now become Rs2.17 against the Afghani," declared Dharejo.

He alleged that those who "came through the backdoor" had given the public false hopes and made false promises that they were not able to live up to, adding that the people's patience was growing thin.

Claiming that Sindh was constantly being 'robbed,' Dharejo stated that the continuous gas and electricity load-shedding had bankrupted the economy.
