QUETTA:

On the instructions of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Quetta administration sealed 21 stone crashing plants for causing pollution in Quetta.

Balochistan Environment Secretary Abdul Sabur Kakar maintained the plants located in the Western and Eastern Bypass and Simli area were sealed under the EPA Act 2012 because of destroying environment of the surroundings.

He added dozens of such plants had been set up in different suburbs of Quetta in the past years while the management didn’t monitor the activities of the crushers.
