Rangers arrest 13 suspects

Suspects reportedly involved in drug peddling, robberies and other street crimes

KARACHI:

As many as 13 suspects were arrested by the Rangers during separate operations in the city on Tuesday night. According to a Rangers spokesperson, three suspects were arrested in Shah Faisal Colony for their alleged involvement in extortion. Meanwhile, 10 suspects were arrested in separate operations in Awami Colony, Ittehad Town, Sharae Faisal, Ferozabad, Baghdadi, Zaman Town and Baloch Colony. The law enforcers claimed they had seized weapons, ammunition, stolen valuables and drugs from the possession of the arrested men, who were reportedly involved in drug peddling, robberies and other street crimes.
