DIG visits Central Jail Kot Lakhpat

The DIG issued instructions to resolve the issues on a priority basis

LAHORE:

Lahore Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Jail Malik Mubashir Ahmad Khan paid a surprise visit to the Central Jail located in Kot Lakhpat area on Monday. The DIG reviewed security arrangements at the jail. According to police official, he checked the steps being taken by the administration for prisoners during the ongoing lockdown situation. The DIG also listened to the problems of the prisoners and issued instructions to resolve the issues on a priority basis.
