In an earlier tweet, Peshawer Zalmi head honcho Javed Afridi hinted at the possibility of Engin Altan Düzyatan - the actor who plays the titular role in Diriliş: Ertuğrul - becoming the team's brand ambassador.
"What if Ertugrul Ghazi joins Peshawar Zalmi as a brand ambassador," Afridi said.
Naturally, people were taken aback by the very idea of two of Pakistan's primary obsessions colliding. And then Afridi hinted at another possibility and Twitter more than loved it. Following up on his earlier he wrote, "What if we offer (the role of brand ambassadorship) to Halime Sultan as well?"
Several expressed their excitement in response to his claim, while others felt it would be disrespectful to make foreighners brand ambassadors for a Pakistani cricket tournament. Then there were some who expressed concerns towards Esra Bilgiç being moral policed while representing the team, whereas others were more adamant on the same amount of money being spent on the team's training rather than its marketing.
However, without further ado, it seems like all those "What ifs?" are about to turn into a "Really?" after Bilgiç officially announces her latest contract. But for now she has left her followers wondering with her latest tweet.
"I will be sharing some good news with you soon. @JAfridi10 @PeshawarZalmi," she wrote on the micro-blogging website yesterday.

Here's hoping for increased collaborations and some updates from Altan as well.
