Dismissing employees with fake domiciles ‘top priority’

QUETTA:

Balochistan Governor Amanullah Khan Yasinzai has said that from day one the provincial government has ensured implementation of the employment quota allocated to the province by the federation while immediate dismissal of employees recruited on fake domiciles remains a priority.

“I have taken the issue of counterfeit domiciles very seriously. In this regard, a long time ago, the federal departments started the process of re-verification of domiciles and directed the deputy commissioners of all the districts of the province to solicit records of thousands of non-residents posted on domiciles on Balochistan quota,” Yasinzai said in a statement.

He added that the deployment of locals on the provincial quota in the federal departments could significantly reduce unemployment in Balochistan.

He directed the DCs of all the districts to expedite the process of honest re-verification of fake domiciles without any bias to pave the way for providing employment to the unemployed youth of the province.

Meanwhile, Balochistan CM Jam Kamal has said that fake domiciles of all those working in federal departments will be cancelled.
