Illegal house demolished in Humak

The enforcement directorate used heavy machinery to demolish encroachments in the area

ISLAMABAD:

The anti-encroachment staff of the civic agency, the district administration and a large contingent of police on Thursday conducted a major operation in Humak, destroying allegedly illegal houses and other structures built on state land. A statement issued by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Thursday said that the Enforcement Directorate of the authority continued its anti-encroachment drive in Aziz Town of the Humak Model Village. The enforcement directorate used heavy machinery to demolish encroachments in the area including a single-storey house constructed on state land, 16 rooms, six kitchens, eight washrooms, five boundary walls, three gates, 15 under-construction rooms, a verandah and animal sheds. Several kanals of state land was retrieved from illegal occupants.
