Opposition parties of Balochistan on Wednesday challenged the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the year 2020-21 in the Balochistan High Court. The opposition has taken a stand in the petition that the government has violated the guidelines of the planning commission in the PSDP and ignored their constituencies. A constitutional petition has been filed by Balochistan National Party- Mengal, Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam and former chief minister Nawab Aslam Raisani. Balochistan High Court has issued notices to the parties, while also summoning record of the PSDP. The formal hearing of the case will be held on July 13.
