Contracts Extended: SMI employee contracts extended

KARACHI: The Government of Sindh has extended the contracts of 35 employees of Sindh Madressatul Islam (SMI) College for two years. This was said by Principal Dr Muhammad Ali Shaikh during a meeting of faculty and staff members on Friday at the Sir Shahnawaz Bhutto Auditorium. Among these 35 employees, the contracts of 15 ended on April 30 and that of the remaining 20 employees were ending in July and August. He said that after they became a part of the Sindh government, they were facing problems with their budget but this too has been fixed. Other employees would be promoted soon.
