NAWABSHAH: Due to tensions between a student organisation and teachers, Quaid-e-Awam University remained closed for the third day in succession. The administration cancelled enrollment for six students and suspended them for one year for misbehaviour. Meanwhile, the University Teachers’ Association has said it will continue its strike unless action is taken against the students. On the other hand, the students have staged a sit-in in front of the Nawabshah Press Club, saying that they are not guilty and despite this, they are ready to apologise. The students complained that their version of the incident was not taken into consideration.
