The statement comes after a five-member larger Supreme Court bench directed the law secretary to de-notify PCO judges by August 9.

During the hearing of the case, former law minister Babar Awan informed the court that a summary to de-notify PCO judges had been sent to the relevant authorities.
The chief justice said that no such summary was needed and a notification regarding PCO Judges should be issued today.
Law Division Secretary Masood Chishti and Attorney General Maulvi Anwarul Haq also appeared before the bench.
The hearing has been adjourned until Tuesday.

How about the sitting PCO judges including the SC CJ himself, who has taken oath under Mush insead of 1973 constitution? They all took oath under PCO and endorsed Mush's takeover. Why isolate and target only the judges who kept working after Mush sackd CJ?
In fact each time the army took over, the SC never failed to verify and justify their coup. Never in the history of Pakistan did the court not like military takeover even once!
