
The project is expected to commence from the next fiscal year, Punjab Revenue Parliamentary Secretary Adnan Chaudhry confirmed on Monday.
He said that the project will cost Rs4.16 billion and is expected to be completed by September.
Tenders for procurement of vehicles and machinery will be issued in July, Chaudhry said.

SHOs who recovered from Covid-19, resume duties.
Rawalpindi. Two SHOs of the Rawalpindi police have re-joined their duties after recovering from the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), a police spokesperson said. Naseerabad SHO Inspector Nadeem Abbas and Gujjar Khan SHO Inspector Imran Abbas had contracted the virus while on duty. Both had isolated themselves at home and after their test reports came back as negative, they were asked to come back to work.
Both SHOs said that apart from performing their duties of protecting the lives and properties of people, they were committed to implementing all precautionary guidelines devised by the government.
