ISLAMABAD:

City police on Thursday recovered a body from Margalla Hills near Daman-e-Koh.

The deceased was identified as Farrukh Hussain, an employee of the Employees’ Old-age Benefit Institute (EOBI), who had gone missing some five days ago from Rawalpindi.

The police suspected the body was four to five days old. The post mortem report showed that Hussain was shot from behind.

Hussain, 35, was a resident of Fauji colony in Rawalpindi. His family had registered a complaint about his kidnapping in the Pirwadhai police station on July 30.

The police official investigating the case ruled out the possibility of robbery. The family said Hussain had no known enemies, according to the police official. The body was handed over to the family after the post mortem, police said.
