Kelly Clarkson has filed for divorce from husband Brandon Blackstock a music manager,  according to a report published on CNN. Clarkson has reportedly cited "irreconcilable differences" in the divorce filing.

The two have been married for the past seven years, tying the knot back in October 2013.  The Voice coach and Blackstock, have two children together, River Rose and Remington Alexander. Additionally, Blackstone has two other children from his previous marriage.

Clarkson has requested joint legal and physical custody of the couple's two children. The pair reportedly have a prenuptial agreement.

According to a report on E! News, the divorce filing came as a shock.  "It came out of nowhere," one insider says. "It's all so sad for the kids. They were always such a loving family. It never seemed like they had any issues."

As second insider close to Kelly's daytime show explains, "Brandon was around all the time on almost all show days and they were very loving towards one another. They drove home from set together every night."
