Family Feud: Man kills his cousin over petty issue

RAWALPINDI:

A man was shot dead by his cousin over a petty issue in Kallar Syedan area on Tuesday, police sources said.

Haider Ali, a resident of Bashandot Village had invited his cousin, Muhammad Ibrahim, at his house where they usually played games on computer and watched movies.

On Monday, Haider called his cousin again at his house, which lies in the outskirts of Kallar Syedan, Their altercation over a minor issue turned into a serious fight.

Haider, 20, pulled out his pistol, shot his cousin dead. The police registered a murder case and started investigation. Both of the cousins were of the same age, police said.

Meanwhile, the same police arrested a man on charges of carrying an unlicensed weapon on Wednesday. The police said, they intercepted Naseer during routine patrolling in the area and seized a 30-bore pistol and five bullets from his possession.
