Hadiqa Kiani schools Ushna Shah about Pakistan's female vocalists

Ushna had earlier stated on Twitter that Aima Baig and QB were the only incredible female singers in Pakistan

Ushna Shah seems to find herself in murky waters all too often and this time, the actor seems to have scorned Hadiqa Kiani, one of Pakistan's most beloved female singers.

On Saturday, Ushna took to Twitter to share how she felt that Aima Baig and Quratul Ain Balouch are the "only incredible female vocalists" that we have. When a fan mentioned Hadiqa Kiani, she replied, "Ehn."

That tweet, however since deleted, was sent to Hadiqa Kiani and she took it upon herself to list down all the powerful female singers that we're harbouring in our country, because of course, "women need to support women!"



"Shall we educate Ushna Shah on some brilliant Pakistani female singers? Women need to support women so I think it would be really cool if we have her some songs from Pakistani female singers?" requested Hadiqa on her Instagram story.

She also added that "Of course Aima Baig and Quratul Ain Balouch are immensely talented but there's a long list." She said she would start the list and people can add onto it. Here's Hadiqa's list!



Of course it includes a number of Pakistan music industry staples, from Abida Parveen, Madam Noor Jehan, Farida Khanum, Nazia Hassan and Sanam Marvi to Meesha Shafi, Zoe and Rachel Viccaji, Natasha Baig and Mai Dhai etc. It truly is a long list and it isn't even complete yet!

Props to Hadiqa for taking it upon herself to inform more people through her Instagram about other successful, strong females in the music industry.
