FAISALABAD: Police have registered a case on the complaint of an uncle of a teenage girl who returned home nine months after she was abducted and abused by kidnappers.

The maternal uncle of the girl, Muhammad Imran, resident of Chak 102GB Burj Mandi village, lodged a complaint with the police against five abductors.

The complainant reported that his 14-year-old niece was on her way to meet her mother in Chak 115JB Dialgarh after having an altercation with her younger sister when the accused kidnapped her and took her to Chiniot.

He identified the abductors Asif, his wife Kulsoom, Subay Khan, his wife Saba Bibi, and Asad.

He stated that the girl was taken to Bhawana tehsil where she was repeatedly raped by Asif, Asad, Subay and other men. After that, Asad took her to Islamabad to force her into prostitution.

The accused then got the victim hired as a maid at a mansion in Islamabad and took four months’ advance salary from the owner.

Later on, the girl contacted her family through a mobile phone and they went to rescue her.

Speaking to the Express Tribune, the teenager said the gang of kidnappers had also held seven other girls hostage. “These girls are also being forced into prostitution,” she alleged.

Jhumra police have registered a case against the accused and are conducting raids to arrest them.
