Minor boy assaulted in Chunian

KASUR: Police have launched a search for three men who reportedly molested an eight-year-old boy in Chunian.

The son of Mehboob, a resident of Mastuwal area, went out to buy grocery from a shop near his house when three men, identified as Abid, Abdul Rehman and Tauqeer tricked him into going with them. They reportedly took the child to a nearby flour mill and subjected him to sexual assault.

Chunian police were searching for the suspected assaulters.

A few months ago, a man had molested and killed at least five children in Chunian. Similarly, three years ago in the village of Hussain Jaranwala in Kasur, a group sexually abused several children and blackmailed them after making their videos. These incidents tarnished the image of the country in addition to spreading fear among the people.
