Minister hits out at ‘fascist India’ on Youm-e-Takbeer

Balochistan home minister says Indian actions endangering regional peace

QUETTA: Balochistan Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs Zia Langove on Thursday said Youm-e-Takbeer has significant importance in the country’s history.

“On May 28, 1998, Pakistan has successfully tested its atomic missiles in Chaghi, Balochistan and surfaced as an atomic power in the world that enhanced our defence capabilities,” he said in a statement.

The minister said: “By testing atomic missiles, the country had given a clear message to its enemies that no one should consider that our country was weak. We have ended all ambiguities of enemies in May 1998.”

Sharing his views on recent China-India border clash, he said the war-mongering incumbent Indian government would risk region’s peace by its nefarious designs.

“The Indian force deliberately provoked the clash with China in order to divert international community’s attention from brutalities against Muslims in Kashmir and within India,” Langove said, adding that the world is fully aware of “vicious actions” of fascists the Indian PM and the BJP.

The minister also said Pakistan had shared evidence of Indian involvement in funding terrorists’ organisations in Balochistan. “Our peace overtures shouldn’t be considered as our weakness because we are an atomic power nation that could avert any threats,” he added.
