LAHORE:

Two gunmen on a motorbike opened fire on two brothers accused of murder as they left the Ferozewala courts in Shahdara police jurisdiction on Tuesday, leaving one dead and the other in hospital.

Waqas and Fahad, residents of Faizpur, had been accused of killing a man named Ahmed Ali in a dispute over property, said officials at the Factory Area police station in Sheikhupura where the FIR for the murder was registered.

Sub Inspector Rana Mushtaq told The Express Tribune that the two murder suspects had been produced before Ferozewala Deputy Superintendent of Police Naveed Arshad at the courts and were leaving when two men on a bike opened fire on them. Waqas died at the scene while Fahad is currently being treated at Mayo Hospital.
