Balochistan witnesses a quiet Eid this time

Eid prayers congregations were held in open places in accordance with the SOPs amid the coronavirus pandemic

QUETTA: Eidul Fitr was celebrated in Balochistan with religious zeal and simplicity as several Eid prayers congregations were held in open places in accordance with the standard operating procedures amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Governor Amanullah Khan Yasinzai along with Chief Minister Jam Kamal and other political leaders also offered Eid prayers. The governor and chief minister congratulated the nation and appealed the people to celebrate the auspicious occasion with simplicity and in their homes, taking special care of those who could not afford to celebrate.

Socially distanced Eid in times of pandemic

Governor Yasinzai said the wealthy people should take care of the poor and working class of the society in this hour of difficulty due to the lockdown. The CM urged the people of Balochistan to follow the precautionary measures against the coronavirus. “People should share Eid greetings through mobile phones in order to control the spread of the virus.”
