Three pickpockets arrested

RAWALPINDI: The RA Bazaar police on Wednesday busted a three-member gang of pickpockets, including two women, who used to target people by offering them rides.

Police officials say that they have impounded the vehicle used by the pickpockets and Rs5,200 in stolen cash from the suspects as well.

Officials explained that the suspects used to offer rides to people and picked their pockets when they tried to open a faulty door from outside. The lock handle, located inside, had deliberately tampered.

During initial investigations, the suspects allegedly confessed to picking pockets of several people in this way on Chakri Road, Church Road, Tahili Mohri etc.
