RAWALPINDI: The district courts in Rawalpindi have started “Eid meetings” between children and their separated parents.

On the first day of the meetings on Wednesday, emotional sights were witnessed as parents met with their children after over a month. These meetings, which used to be held regularly, had been halted due to the lockdown, imposed to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

The separated parent gifted toys and clothes to their children. Consequently, children were also overjoyed to see their parents after over 50 days and they played different games with their parents in the court premises.

Court allowed parents to stay with their children for three hours.
