Disaster Response: Two-week training course ends
The two-week course was organised by the National Disaster management Authority (NDMA).

A training course for Community Action for Disaster Response (CADRE) concluded at Emergency Services Academy on Monday. The two-week course was organised by the National Disaster management Authority (NDMA) in collaboration with the Asian Disaster Preparation centre and the USAID. The course has previously been conducted in Phillipines, Vietnam, Laos and Nepal it was attended by Rescue 1122 officials as well as some volunteers. NDMA chairman, Dr Zafar Iqbal Qadir was the chief guest and distributed certificates amongst the participants of the course. He thanked the sponsoring organizations for their help. He hoped that this training will enhance the response and management capacity of the participating organisations.
