LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Punjab president Rana Sanaullah has filed a plea seeking directions to the authorities concerned for unfreezing his four back accounts frozen by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF).

The application was filed through Advocate Syed Farhad Ali Shah, contending that the petitioner was being made the target of political victimisation as he had been raising voice on several issues.

He implored that his fault was only that he always spoke the truth and belonged to the opposition party. He contended that there was also an account amongst the four frozen accounts in which his salary as member of National Assembly was credited.

He contended that he kept security guards owing to security threats and also had other expenses which he could not afford without drawing money from his accounts.

He said he had been appearing before the ANF and any other forums where his appearance was required but his accounts had been frozen without any logic. He said he was released on bail granted by the Lahore High Court and had been appearing before the trial court.

He also told the court that his life was disturbed after the authorities froze his bank accounts. He requested the court to issue directives to the quarters concerned to restore his bank accounts.
