Education: School for special children in the making

A fully equipped school to educate and train special children will soon be established at Islamabad Club Road. The announcement was made by Hassan Academy of Special Children Principal Dr Ahmed Hassan on Monday.


Hassan said that the school will provide over 1,000 special children with education, shelter and food in a conducive atmosphere. He said that initial work for the construction of the school’s four-storey building has been started on a piece of land allotted by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) through balloting on a discounted price.

Hassan said that special children from Azad Kashmir, Murree, Islamabad and northern areas will be preferred for the admission in the school. He urged people to come forward and cooperate in completing this mega project.
