KARACHI: The Sindh minister for youth affairs, Jam Madad Ali, distributed certificates to graduates of an urban youth development programme on Monday. The programme was a joint initiative between the Habib University Foundation and the Sindh departments for human development and youth affairs. The six-month programme targeted street youths between the ages of 14 to 20 years and was held at the Institute for Advancing Careers and Talents. It equipped 10 children on the streets with basic technical skills in dress designing and focused on stimulating their own personal development and grooming. Participants received a monthly stipend and transport.
