KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) approved on Tuesday the petition of the Sindh government restraining owners of private schools from expelling students over non-payment of tuition fees during the lockdown. The case was pursued by Sindh additional advocate general barrister Shabir Shah on behalf of the Sindh government who maintained that in accordance with the verdict of the court, "no coercive action shall be taken against any of the students in case of non-payment of full tuition fees." At this, the court restricted all schools from expelling students who were unable to pay tuition fees during the lockdown.
