DG ISI's absence results in Abbottabad Commission session delay
DG ISI was due to brief the judicial commission about the proceedings in the case.
In the previous session, Director General Military Operation Major General Ashfaq Nadeem had brief the commission on the Abbottabad raid.
The judicial commission had directed the interior ministry and the intelligence agencies to withhold the repatriation of bin Laden’s family and that it should not be done without the commission’s consent.
The formation of this commission was proposed in a unanimous resolution passed by the joint session of parliament on May 13 earlier this year.

This is a typical example of ISI & Military disrespect for civil institutions. Could the ISI Chief not have informed the Commission well in advance if he could not attend and asked for another date rather than wasting time of the Commission?
I hope, ISI Chief realizes that if does not show up before the Commission next time, the Commission may have to force him to appear and that would be embarrassing. So, the military and ISI better cooperate fully with the Commission.

Why commission now when there was none when half the country was lost & we lost all the war with India! Latestbone being kargil!
I think, Commission should also highlight and dig out that why some media anchors were so harsh against the security forces and ISI. There should be given some suggestions for media responcibilties of gurading national while broadcasting and airing of news.
