Artiste accuses producer of rape

FAISALABAD: A stage actress was allegedly raped by a drama producer after making her drink intoxicated juice. Police have registered a case and started searching for the accused.

Sajal Javed Iqbal, a resident of Karim Park, Ravi Road, Lahore, filed a case in the Civil Line police station.

Iqbal is a stage actress and has been staying at the National Hotel Lari Ada.

The accused drama producer Sheikh Ishtiaq, a resident of Street No 26 Block X Madina Town, came to Iqbal to convince her to work in his drama and made her drink intoxicated juice and then allegedly raped her.
