‘Govt taking steps to curb virus’  

The government is taking steps to protect citizens from the contagion by using limited resources

SARGODHA: The coronavirus could be averted by taking precautionary measures responsibly, said Punjab Minister for Labour and Manpower Ansar Majeed Khan. “The government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, is taking steps to protect citizens from the contagion by using limited resources.”

He expressed these views while addressing a review meeting on the current situation in the district at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Sunday.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Nayyar Sheikh, CO Health Authority Dr Samiullah and DHO Dr Muhammad Riaz.  “The government had also announced a special package for medical staff, while a special allowance would also be paid to the medical staff till the end of coronavirus.”
