LAHORE: “The Chinese people won the fight against coronavirus by strictly following the instructions given by their authorities in a disciplined manner,” Dr Xin Zhong , a professor at Renmin University of China, said while talking to the media on Thursday.
Replying to a question about the strategy China adopted to fight novel coronavirus, Dr Xin said that quarantine and isolation played a vital role in protecting citizens from the virus.
"China mobilised the entire nation against coronavirus and everyone realised their responsibility in this war," she added.
She said sharing of experience regarding Covid-19 among the nations was important in the war against this deadly virus.
The professor asserted that the role of political leadership is very important as its timely decisions can be very effective to fight the coronavirus.
Dr Xin urged the Pakistani nation to follow the advice of the authorities concerned.
When asked about the after effects of the pandemic, she said several Chinese experts had stated that it could take one to three years to get the life on track completely.
“Solidarity plays a vital role so we should be united to defeat the virus.”
She narrated that in China they had introduced online education and utilised several online methodologies to educate students during the lockdown.
