KARACHI: Hinopak Motors has announced that after conducting extensive research it has started exporting vehicles to Middle Eastern and African countries.

This was announced at the annual general meeting of Hinopak on Thursday which also discussed an increase in the company’s market share and promotion of sales.

Chairman Hinopak Kunwar Idris told shareholders, who attended in the meeting, that the financial turmoil in world markets, falling value of the rupee, slowing economic activities and law and order situation had caused a reduction in the demand for commercial vehicles.

Director Sales and Marketing Irfan Shaikh said that 25 buses for the Emirates Transport will be shipped in mid-July. Orders from Algeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Papua New Guinea have also been received and will be shipped soon, he said. PPI
