Hollywood celebrities usher in Ramazan with messages of love and peace

Halsey, Sami Yusuf and others took to social media to wish Muslims a happy Ramazan

With the holy month of Ramazan upon us, an abundance of greetings are going around, and a number of celebrities around the world have taken to social media to wish their fans a happy and a blessed month.

Pop-star Halsey took to Twitter to give her fans glad tidings of the month. "Ramadan Kareem! For all who are observing, I am wishing you a time of great patience, strength, courage, happiness, and peace!" she tweeted.



Comic giant DC Comics shared an illustration of super-hero Green Lantern wishing their fans. "Ramadan Mubarak! Wishing the best to all celebrating throughout the galaxy," they wrote.




Singer Sami Yusuf also prayed for his fans to have a blessed Ramazan. "Wishing you all safety, happiness and love in this sacred month," he wrote on his Twitter.



Actor and activist Mia Farrow also shared prayers for the month, writing, "Wishing my Muslim friends throughout the world all the blessings of the holy month."
