Following approval from the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP), the Punjab Planning and Development Department directed the project’s executing agency, the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) to prepare a feasibility report for the project.
The provincial government has already approved a project to remodel the Kacheri Chowk with an interchange and flyover and the process of awarding a contract to devise feasibility for the project has commenced.
