This was stated by the project’s focal person, Federal Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Thursday while chairing a meeting to review progress made on the project.
The meeting was attended by the Rawalpindi Commissioner Muhammad Mehmood, RDA Chairman Tariq Mahmood Murtaza and other related officials.
Under the project, the federal minister was told that roads will be built along the 16-kilometre-long embankments of Nullah Leh.
Apart from the causeway, a sewerage treatment plant will also be built as part of the project.
